New York, NY--Kickin' off the month of March is Rev-Elation featuring Joe Locke and friends followed by a week with the Kenny Werner Quintet showcasing a brand new Blue Note CD. The first day of spring is March 21, but Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola celebrates the SING INTO SPRING FESTIVAL from March 13-April 16! This celebration of song includes vocalists Mark Murphy to Ernestine Anderson and promises a little something for everyone!

UPSTARTS! Every Monday night, the UPSTARTS! series features the best area college jazz bands with incredible up-and-coming talent, this month highlighting an ASCAP Fountation Young Jazz Composers Award Winner and SING INTO SPRING FESTIVAL veteran vocalists Meredith D'Ambrosio and Giacomo Gates. Be sure to stick around for our late- night jams with AFTER HOURS. Take advantage of our great Student Rates: Headliners $15 (Tue.-Sun.), UPSTARTS! $10 (Mondays), AFTER HOURS $5 (Tue.-Sat.).

Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola offers spectacular views and serves a jazz inspired menu seven days a week through the collaboration between Great Performances and Spoonbread culinary creators. The Rhythm Road - UPSTARTS! - After Hours
The Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad Program

Through the Rhythm Road: American Music Abroad Program, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs co-produce tours for six jazz and three urban music quartets that include performance and education events around the world. The program is designed to foster cultural exchange in areas with limited access to American music and culture. Regions inlcude Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia.

The following concerts by bands in the Rhythm Road program will take place on Saturday afternoons at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola. All are FREE and open to the public. Seating is limited, issued on a first-come, first-served basis.
