Treasured singer Tony Bennett has continued to win over new generations of fans with his classic style every decade since he released his first record in the mid 1950s. After more than 60 releases in his career, his music has never gone out of style. Bennett may be a last remaining bond to a golden era of popular American music.
RPM Records/Columbia Records will release Tony Bennett's Duets: an American Classic on September 26th. Artists featured on the CD include Barbra Streisand, Bono, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Dixie Chicks, John Legend, Juanes, Tim McGraw, Billy Joel and more.
The Target version of Duets: an American Classic features four exclusive tracks with Michael Buble and Diana Krall, as well as Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra.
Target will also offer a CD/DVD combo which includes Duets: an American Classic with the four bonus tracks, along with an accompanying DVD. The exclusive footage will include a 20-minute behind-the-scenes look at the creation of the album, a sneak peek into the recording sessions, and interviews with artists including Bono and the Dixie Chicks--as well as Tony Bennett himself.
The Target exclusive CD and CD/DVD combo are available exclusively at Target stores on September 26, 2006.
