UK Jazz Radio gives a voice to the Eastern European Jazz Scene

Pioneering station,UK Jazz Radio presents ,Victor Unikowsky's Rushour at 1:00am every Friday. This innovative show is hosted by the Russian guitarist who is now resident in the UK. Unikovsky is widely regarded as one of the most highly skilled guitarists in Europe. He began playing guitar professionally when he was 15 years old. At the age of 20, he moved to Petersburg to join the Philharmonic Orchestra. His rapid development as both a musician and composer enabled him to collaborate on a range of theatrical productions and extensively tour Eastern Europe.

Victor became a resident in the UK in 1991 and since arriving he has collaborated with Jim Mullen, John Etheridge and Indian trio, Millan. Since its inception a year ago, UK Jazz Radio has gained an increasing number of both Russian and Eastern European listeners. The innovative show focuses on the jazz scene in Eastern europe and it is available in both Russian and English.
