Producer, Mike McEvoy, today launches his independent record label, Rezzonator Music, with the CD release 'Elevations' by The Bobby Blackston Band.

'Elevations' blends elements of smooth jazz, funk and jazz fusion, and McEvoy's arrangements allow plenty of room for the musicians to stretch out and show their talents.

The Bobby Blackston Band includes Mike McEvoy's skillful playing on keyboards, guitar and bass, joined by an impressive line up of musicians including bassist Gary Brown (Flora Purim, Airto Moreira), Chris Taylor (Roachford), Crispin Taylor (Galliano), Walfredo Reyes Jnr (Santana & Steve Winwood), Jacko Peake (Paul Weller) and Gerard Presencer (US3, Herbie Hancock).

Jazzie B of Soul II Soul says of 'Elevations': “This is Sunday morning - space to breathe".

Mike McEvoy's mission with Rezzonator Music is to reawaken people's interest in live music and experience the joy of musicians connecting in making melodic music together.
