The discussion will feature a panel of leading editors, agents and authors discussing and offering practical real-world" publishing advice. Guest panelists include music editor Kim Robinson (Oxford University Press); Holly George-Warren (former editor, Rolling Stone Press), Ashley Kahn, author of A Love Supreme: The Story of John Coltrane's Signature Album and Kind of Blue: The Making of the Miles Davis Masterpiece; agents from the Sarah Lazin Agency; and Yale University professor John Szwed, also the author So What: The Life of Miles Davis, Space is the Place: The Lives and Times of Sun Ra, and Jazz 101, among others. The panel will be moderated by Howard Mandel, JJA president.
