Boston, MA -- Amherst Massachusetts based Iron City is an instrumental jazz trio with their roots steeped in the past but a step ahead of everyone else with a leap into the future on their new release Put The Flavor On It.
The band takes the cue from groove masters such as Grant Green, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Melvin Sparks, and James Brown to create their own special blend of jazz and blues.
Iron City is Charlie Apicella (guitar), Beau Sasser (Hammond organ), and Alan Korzin (drums).
