Jazz Awards Party Tickets Still Available to JJA Members

You've got first warning that there are only 20 seats left for the Jazz Awards party/Jazz Standard BBQ luncheon, on Thursday (June 28), 2 to 4 pm.

What you can expect:

• Music by Frank Kimbrough (in tribute to Andrew Hill)
• A champagne toast (thanks to BMI)
• A nice opportunity to mingle with nominated musicians, jazz community and industry folks

Attendance costs only $35 (tax deductible). Tomorrow promotional spots start on WBGO--and tickets for non-members cost $100. They're going to go fast, but it would be best to have JJA members filling this event up, so if you still want to come, act now.
