Sundays from 5 PM 7 PM EST
90.1 FM WDCE Richmond
Live webcast Listen to the most recent show!

The new studio is completed. The table is set. The jazz feast has begun. Dig in and dig it!

Tune in this Sunday at 5 PM EST for the unstoppable sound of freedom in the groove with the latest, greatest performers and rare recordings throughout the history of jazz. This past week I featured tracks from fantastic Frank Strozier, the late, great pianist Dave McKenna, forward-thinking improviser Vijay Iyer, trumpeter extraordinaire Roy Hargrove, plenty of rare grooves on vinyl and shellack, as well as my long-standing Two Of A Kind and Records From Aunt Ruth segments.

Feel free to call in with your trash or treasure vote this week during Records From Aunt Ruth at 804-289-UR90.

90.1 FM WDCE is the only station in Richmond that brings you a full day of jazz! Every Sunday, it starts with Herbs adventurous Soundwaves show at 9 AM 1 PM, Claude picks up the reins with his long-standing jazz set at 1 pm, followed by Bud Tyler with his absolutely swingin show at 3 pm and then Freedom Jazz Dance takes to the air until 7 and sometimes beyond. Jazz is smokin' on all cylinders Sundays on 90.1 FM WDCE wdce.org
