The Dekel Bor trio is one one of the most prominent and visible groups of the New- York jazz scene. At a time where forward-looking,dedicated working jazz bands are rare, the Dekel Bor Trio is pushing the envelope of modern jazz. In the past 4 years the group has toured across the US to critical acclaim performing at top festivals, clubs and colleges during which they have drawn the attention of Robert Sadin (Herbie Hancock, Wynton Marsalis, Gilberto Gil), known for his celebrated work with Wayne Shorter. Mr. Sadin went on to produce the group's first album - “EMUNA". The Dekel Bor Trio will be releasing it's recording debut “EMUNA" in Dec. '05.

The group is now preparing for a US and european CD release tour in the winter of 2006.

About the group:

Dekel Bor is a 26 year-old artist from Israel who has taken the jazz world by storm for his focused and highly-original musical vision as a Composer, Guitarist and Bandleader. In 2003 Dekel received the prestigious “Beacons In Jazz" award. He has toured and performed in major festivals with the likes of the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra, jazz legend Reggie Workman, Niels-Henning Orsted- Pederson, Horace Parlan, Adam Nussbaum, Gregory Hutchinson as well as many, many others. Dekel is endorsed by such top companies as Monteleone Guitars Taylor Guitars, Mesa Boogie and Acoustic Image Amps,Bag-End Speakers and Thomastk-Infeld Strings.

French-born bassist Francois Moutin is one of the biggest starts of the international jazz scene. Francois was a member of the acclaimed groups of Martial Solal, Michel Portal and Jean-Michel Pilc. Since November 1997 when he moved to New-York, Francois has been performing with the likes of Mike Stern and Jeff “Tain" Watts among many others. Currently leads the Moutin Reunion Quartet-an internationally touring group which has released 3 albums.

Drummer Nadav Snir-Zelniker has performed with such musical giants as Jon Faddis, Dr. Todd Coolman and the David Parsons Dance Company

In the summer of 2006 the trio will collaborate with such jazz masters as Tom Harrell, Kenny Wheeler and Fred Hersch among many others.
