Flatbed Pick-Up Truck is an Outdoor Stage for Indie Artist Chloe Temtchine

Innovative ‘Where In The Truck Is Chloe?’ Tour Adds Wheels and an Engine to the Concept of Guerilla Marketing

Four-Star CD Review: “The album does not sound like an album from a debuting artist, but from a pop veteran”

Indie artists have to use whatever means possible to get their music listened to by the public. But pop/soul/R&B singer Chloe Temtchine has taken guerilla marketing to the next level, adding wheels and an engine with her trailblazing “Where In The Truck Is Chloe?” tour. With a flatbed pick-up truck, a guitar and an amp, Temtchine has been traveling to different neighborhoods in New York City, and treating passers-by to a free performance of songs from her upcoming debut CD ‘Between Day & Dream’.

She’s been drawing crowds on the sidewalks near 16th Street and Broadway and also at 49th St and 7th Avenue over the past two weekends, and a full schedule of upcoming appearances is available at whereinthetruckischloe.com.

Also, at each stop, donations are collected for Worldwide Orphans Foundation.

Temtchine’s debut CD will be released September 15th. Listen to a streaming sampler of Chloe’s music here: http://www.sethcohenpr.com/player/chloe/. USA TODAY has deemed her “a young singer with the sparkle of a star-to-be,” and has praised her ability to sing in English, French and Spanish. In a Four-Star CD review, Melodic.Net raved, “The album does not sound like an album from a debuting artist, but from a pop veteran.”

MELODIC.NET “Youtube star and up-and-coming artist Chloe Temtchine busts into the market with her debut album “Between Day and Dream". Music-wise we are talking about acoustic based pop music with lots of soul influences. The songs are mostly mid-tempo with lots of piano and acoustic guitars in the mix. Some songs also contain bongo drums, which only adds to the summer feeling of the album. The album does not sound like an album from a debuting artist, but from a pop veteran. Chloe manages both the slower and the faster songs without any trouble. “Between Day & Dream" is a real feel-good pop album made for the summer. Chloe is an excellent singer. No matter if the songs are slow or more up-tempo, it is Chloe's vocals that lifts them above the average. This may Chloe Temtchine's first album, but from the sound of it it will not be her last. Impressive debut!”

A U.S. tour is in the works for the months ahead. Until then, Temtchine can be seen locally at Canal Room on 8/25; performing as part of FASHION WEEK in NYC, for Louis Boston, on 9/10; at The Bitter End on 9/14; and at BEST BUY at 23rd & 6th Avenue on 9/16, an in- store event/performance timed to her CD release. And, of course, she will be on a sidewalk near YOU with her Pick-up Truck Tour!
