Blue Note Records President/CEO Bruce Lundvall has recently added radio personality to the list of his accomplishments when he began hosting “The Blue Note Hour" on Sirius Satellite Radio. The show, which airs weekly on Sirius Pure Jazz Channel 72 on Fridays at 6pm ET, with encore presentations on Sundays at 9am ET.
On the show Lundvall plays Blue Note music from every era of the label's 66 year legacy, adding anecdotes about the artists, label founders, and his storied career along the way. Blue Note artists also appear as guests when they swing by the Sirius Manhattan studio, playing their personally favorites from the Blue Note catalog as well.
