Announcing Rockethub's Gibson Opportunity

In the past year or so, one of the most exciting (or disturbing, depending on your politics) developments in independent music has been the involvement of major corporate brands.

Thanks to Rockethub, brand partnerships have officially come to crowdfunding.

Inspired by the generosity that drove Converse to open a recording studio (among other things), founders Brian, Vlad, and Jed decided to start bringing major brands into the folds of their site's opportunities.

So if you'd be at all interested in having a week's worth of recording time at the Gibson/Baldwin Showroom (formerly known as the iconic recording studio the Hit Factory), winning $1,000, and having a week's worth of music industry experts pop in to check out your music and maybe help out, head on over to Rockethub and apply. Only one artist will be selected, and the application window is only open through the end of this month. Don't sleep!
