The Eternal Path is the exciting new release featuring and produced by GRAMMY-Nominated drummer and leader Jeremy Jones (Macklemore, Paul Jeffrey Quintet, The Teaching, Thomas Marriott, Winard Harper). Jeremy Jones, an award-winning Seattle-based drummer, has released his latest captivating and genre- blending album of new original music. The band includes fellow GRAMMY-Nominee, pianist Josh Rawlings (Macklemore, Kesha, Ed Sheeran, Allen Stone, Travis Thompson) and respected Northwest electric bassist Tim Carey (Jovino Santos Neto, Gail Petis, Xavier Lecourtier). The album features 12 original pieces of music, most of which began with melodic and harmonic sketches by Rawlings, and were expounded upon through group compositional sessions to produce a tightly woven tapestry of music that flows seamlessly from start to finish. The fusion of masterful instrumental playing and effortless depth in tone is evident throughout. The band truly play as a tight unit / a Trio de Force, that is equally refreshing and exciting to hear upon multiple listens. Stylistically the album sits well alongside peers like Robert Glasper, Brian Blade Fellowship, and The Bad Plus.
