guitarAlbum Description
After releasing first an album with electric guitar improvisations and then a collection of strictly acoustic ones over a couple of weeks, I have now compiled a more eclectic sounding collection called Sunday's in LOVE. My life is a continuing ping-pong of different musical styles, challenges and impressions, from big-band tunes written in the 1930ties with 1545 guitar chords to hard-core contemporary improvisation and a bit of modern post-pop-country music at the side. This new album is my ode to living more like a dividual than an individual. One, but divided. The album comprises two new tracks (a pensive acoustic one titled Gdansk-Olsztyn 13:15 and a two heavy overdriven fretless guitar pieces, Sunday's in love and The Breitenmoser Line, both recorded February 22. An equally overdriven fretted guitar piece called BIAS and a stretch of midified and re-composed murmur from a Stockholm restaurant called Söder, both recorded last spring. An earlier electronic improvisation dating back to 2015 called Subsequences and, finally, Walden's fever day 7, played on an untunable guitar sitting in a cottage by the sea waiting for an adventurous improviser to come and pick it up. This track was recorded in July 2021.
