Please Rate Your Experience is the first single from a new solo project that I have been working on for drums and electronics and a reflection of a more personal sound world I have been exploring as a soloist. Originally it was written for my friend Lenny Pickett on his birthday (the title referring to: please rate your life experience thus far) but it’s also a dystopian meditation on the on the consumer culture that has permeated current reality.
