Album Description

After several experiences in Europe and US with many musicians, Brussels based saxophonist Vincent Thekal decides to create his own trio in 2016 with bassist Alex Gilson and drummer Franck Agulhon, two great sought after sidemen. "Origami" is the result of all this experiences and influences and also a new page in musical and personnal life of the leader. The CD presents four originals tracks written for this format in different moods and four jazz classics also arranged for the band. A new sound to discover!
