A Japanese man, who has lived in New York City for 24 years, titled this album after Bashō's death haiku. The translation is 'On a journey, ailing, my dream goes running over the withered field.' These tunes embody an affirmation of tough times and an appreciation for nature. The music offers tranquility, performed by the Dreamless Trio, featuring a pianist originally from Ukraine and a bassist originally from Russia.
