percussionAlbum Description
In 1994 Ernst Bier and Mack Goldsbury decided to form a joint band. In the meantime, more than 25 years have passed, and the list of musicians who have played in this band is very long. A total of four CDs have been released in which, among others, Reggie Moore, Martin Lillich, Herb Robertson, Frank Möbus, Ed Schuller, Maciej Fortuna or Mathias Bätzel have participated. The current Quartet with pianist Rolf Zielke and bassist Erik Unsworth from El Paso/Texas was formed in 2016 and recorded in July 2019 at Tonstudio Greve in Berlin. The Berlin-based American jazz percussionist Kevin Burrell was a guest on three of the tracks. Let yourself be carried away by the tremendous playing mood of these excellent musicians. They live with and through their music, a fact that they pass on to their listeners without exception.
