Album Description

An annual tradition that started 7 years ago as a gift to the band, bassist Andrew Vogt arranged a batch of Christmas songs for the group to play, fitted snugly on top of existing Bonzo Squad music. This February, they took that music into Rax Trax Studios and recorded it for future holidays, when they are all too fat and lazy to fit into their elf costumes. The result was “A Very Bonzo Christmas,” an 8-track album chock-full of holiday smaesh. The album also guest features fantastic Chicagoan musicians including Zach Brock, Atlys String Quartet, Matt Gold, Constantine Alexander and Anders Nordstrom. “Bonzo Squad has crafted more than just an album; they've created a holiday experience.
