Ziv Ravitz has established himself as a reference young drummer thanks to successful collaborations with the likes of Avishai Cohen, Mark Turner and Lee Konitz. For years the Israeli Brooklyn-based musician has performed in the trio of saxophonist Will Vinson, who on this tour hands over the reins to him.

In early 2019, Ziv Ravitz will release of No Man Is an Island. He recently turned 40 quite—time to offer his own vision, based on his experiences as an international jazz musician and world traveler: "everyone is connected and if you have the courage to step out of your comfort zone you can create something wonderful together."

Personnel: Will Vinson alto saxophone; Nir Felder: guitar; Ziv Ravitz drums.

Recording engineer: Marc Schots
