Pedra Preta: Your Choice

Questo album del trio Pedra Preta si muove con convinzione in territori soleggiati, latini, pieni di passione e calore. Il che fa un po' strano se si tiene conto che questa produzione si muove fra Berlino e Berna, due località certamente non associate abitualmente agli scenari sopra segnalati

Ma con la globalizzazione non ci possiamo meravigliare del sole a Stoccolma e della neve a Caltanisetta. E allo stesso modo non ci possiamo meravigliare della calda solarità di questo progetto, della sua capacità di stimolare la voglia di ballare danze armoniose ed eleganti, che non diventano mai sfrenate e deliranti.

La chitarra di Munir Hossn sta sempre al centro della scena mischiando sapientemente le linee melodiche con la scansione ritmica che è sempre ben evidente e centrale. Anche gli effetti vengono usati prevalentemente in funzione ritmica e il tutto si lega alla perfezione con la batteria e le percussioni di Flo Reichle e con il basso elettrico di Toni Schiavano. Il mondo è davvero un villaggio globale.
