From Monterey to Montreux, And all stops in between, I'm takin' up a fast plane, And droppin'on the scene.

I'll be groovin' on the tasty works, Of Haden, Brown and Krall, And hearing all the jaunty tunes, Of Gillespie, Dizz', Jamal.

From Swing to Bop, Contemp, Tradit, The Kool Kats come alive, I'm face to face with all that jazz, No time for takin' five.

They'll be layin' down some introspect And fuse accoustic licks, They'll play a lot of scorching riffs, While I just get my kicks.

Let's do the fest, bring down the house, And join the jubilee, In Montreal or North Sea, Just you, and jazz and me.
