THE INTENSITY GALACTIC

Sexy sax sounds fill this room
With memories sweet, smouldering
With recall of the passion
Briefly shared so long ago
But the intensity galactic
And the after-image brightly glows
Thru mellow tunes that recall
The glory of our union
Flowing with the energy
Created thru the merge ---

Oh ancient urge described as purge
Before the final blending.
These passionate dreams created
By recall of that surrender
When we traded priceless goals:

Art the only way to show
Energy shared thru poems, tunes
Makes each day glow galactic
And the Universe our audience
The beauty in love what shows.

THE MESH OF TIME AND TEARS

Addicted to the Internet.
That sense of reaching you
Thru the mesh of time and tears,
Hiding our love in memory,
With brief snatches at the actual
When we share a coffee break
Trade glimpses at our styles.

You flew away from me
Yet glued into history
Our love, thru awesome tunes
As sax and horn surround
Remains real, thus I moan
That these feelings can't be found
In the actual flesh and bone
Yet magnified thru saxophone
The glory of our passions
Thru my brain forever roams.

CAUGHT IN LYRICAL REFRAIN

Dark winds blowing branches
A theatrical gesture
From the comforts of indoors
As the fire burns.
The harmony in tunes
A compensation for the pain
When our love went insane
Rebelling against authority
Overflowing, blew my brains.

And nothing was left
Yet the essence maintained
Thru the energy of music
Caught in lyrical refrain ---
Thus I'll always remember
The beauty in the game.

STARIN' AT YOU BLOWIN'

As icy winds rattle the windows
The warm heat of music flows
Thru the daydreams of merging
An ancient love with now.

For every time I listen
The harmony of our union
Re-activates a yearning
For what I cherish still.

Puts the mind in acid-state
Recalling all the evenings
Staring at you blowing
Such beautifl clear notes
Singing of universals ---

And so you're with me still
As I surrender to the music,
Your gift alive in notes.

THE HORN AWAKENS RECALL

Heavy freezing snow
Early warning of winter
Accenting isolation
Adds glory to the day
Justifies detachment
As the mind wanders
Thru the rhythm of tunes
Back to those glorious days.

Tho the passion intense
Duration an illusion
But memories thru association
Flow thru incredible sounds:
Rippling piano, soulful saxophone,
Warmth seeping thru tunes.

A response to unique beauty
Captured by the horn
Awakens recall of the ecstasy
When we merged as one.
