Dear fellow musician:

We have some good news to share, and we'd also like to invite all interested Beatles fans to submit a quote to AAJ for possible inclusion in our upcoming "Jazz Honors the Beatles" article. Please read on...

Submit Your Beatles Quote!

To celebrate the recent release of The Beatles' remastered discography, AAJ is compiling quotes from jazz artists who want to comment on The Beatles: how the Fab Four impacted your music, Beatles-related stories, what you love about The Beatles, etc..

We're looking for somewhere between 100 and 300 words (though even a sentence or two would be fine).

Please use this handy form to submit your quote. The deadline is September 29h.

Update Your Profile With Your Twitter and Facebook Links

You can now include a link from your musician profile to your Facebook and Twitter pages. Go to your profile, click "Edit Profile," then scroll down to the RELATED LINKS section.

Readers can access your links by clicking the LINKS tab on your profile page.

Free PR: "Take Five With..." and MP3 download of the Day

Our Take Five self-directed Q&A is a terrific way to raise the awareness of your profile at All About Jazz. We'll publish your Take Five answers as an article, feature it, and associate it with your AAJ musician profile. Please submit at least 10-12 answers and take your time with it.

If you recently released a CD then consider featuring a track as an AAJ MP3 Download of the Day. Our service is free and we recently featured a track that topped 1,200 downloads in a single day, so it's tremendous exposure.

Add Value to Your Website, Blog or Facebook Page

In addition to our existing AAJ widgets, we're creating a batch of Facebook-friendly widgets.

In case you're new to the world of widgets, they are dynamically updated and customizable content boxes that are pushed from AllAboutJazz.com to a user's website, blog or Facebook page. View how they appear at the Montreal Jazz Festival website, the Barcelona Jazz Festival blog, the Jazz Excursion website, or the AAJ News Blog.

Affordable Advertising and Album Streaming

You can promote your music and yourself through AAJ's Showcase and Banner advertising service (we recommend the 300x250 pixel ad space for new CD releases and the 728x90 ad space for concerts). We also offer a weekly album streaming service called a Listening Party.

Click here for more information about all three services.

Contribute Articles to AAJ: Megaphone

Musicians have published articles at All About Jazz through our Megaphone column for years. If you would like to contribute an article to AAJ, please contact us with your idea and we'll let you know if it's a good fit.

All the best,
Michael Ricci
