Bel trio spagnolo pianoless, questa formazione è guidata dal contrabbassista Martin Leiton, autore di tutte le composizioni, e testimonia la vivacità creativa di una scena da noi non molto conosciuta qual è quella iberica.

Vi si ascolta una musica piuttosto rarefatta, sospesa quasi in un'atmosfera di pathos, nella quale il suono la fa da padrone su strutture e temi melodici, pur nella presenza delle une e degli altri. Il contrabbasso del leader conduce il gioco -con un battito perlopiù quasi puramente legante, ma talvolta anche ritmicamente incisivo ("Lynch," "Take Your Time")—e apre spazi espressivi alle ance di Marcel.lí Bayer, il quale senza troppi orpelli e/o virtuosismi sviluppa narrazioni ora astratte, ora liberamente liriche, sempre convincenti. Ottimo l'apporto del batterista Oscar Domenech, che aggiunge colore ai quadri lavorando efficaciemente ora ai piatti e a varie suggestive percussioni, compensando con i suoi lampi l'oscurità timbrica dei fiati, ora alle casse, donando matericità -assieme al corposo suono del contrabbasso -ai passaggi più rarefatti.

I tre musicisti trovano così modo di mettere a frutto al meglio le loro eccellenti qualità, in un contesto complessivo che tiene sempre alta l'attenzione dell'ascoltatore, un'attenzione che peraltro l'album richiede per essere apprezzato al meglio, in assenza di schemi prevedibili, e che giustifica a pieno il titolo di "poesia del suono."
