Robert Kennedy

Robert Kennedy currently plays jazz organ and piano in straight-ahead settings, and accordion in the Gypsy Jazz group Mission Hot Club.

Born and raised in the American South, Robert has lived and worked in the San Francisco bay area since 1988. He played piano in the Stanford University Jazz Band and studied jazz piano with the great jazz pianist, band director, and educator Bill Bell. Robert was a founding member of the groups Hip Pocket Jazz Quintet and Double Funk Crunch, and has had the pleasure of playing venues such as Yoshi's, the Boom Boom Room, the Agenda Lounge (back in the day) and the SFJAZZ Miner Auditorium with renowned players such as Nancy Wright, Calvin Keys, Will Weston, Terrence Brewer, and many more, playing jazz, blues, R&B, and rock and roll. Among his many inspirations Robert counts the playing of Jack McDuff, Billy Childs, Larry Goldings, Herbie Hancock, and Tony Monaco.

Francis Hon

Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Dr. Francis Hon (洪維浩) began playing classical piano at the age of six. In 2011, Francis moved to the United States to pursue a Doctorate in Piano Performance at The University of Texas at Austin, where he studied with Gregory Allen, the Grand Prize winner of the 1980 Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Competition. Francis was always influenced by a variety of musical genres, which formed the foundation of his future musical style. Francis ignited his passion for jazz music in Austin, “the live music capital of the world.” While continuing his classical piano studies, he took up jazz piano with Jeff Hellmer and started playing with many musicians on the Austin jazz scene

Carolyn Richardson, aka Music Carolyn, is a singer, songwriter, and music supervision executive. Born in Dallas and raised in Houston, Texas, she cut her teeth and got her first big break here in Chicago before going on to settle down in Los Angeles. In addition to her work in the world of music supervision with her company, Music 4 Scenes, Music Carolyn is a highly sought after recording artist and session musician in her own right. She has been featured as a background vocalist on a number of songs on Grammy-nominated Lukas Graham’s latest album 3 (The Purple Album). And has also shared the stage with Kathleen Battle as a soloist, and performed with Aretha Franklin’s musical director Damien Sneed

Laurent Doumont

LAURENT DOUMONT is a saxophone player, singer-songwriter from Brussels, mainly in the Soul Jazz idiom. He was part of Daniel Romeo’s band from 1999 to 2008. He also played for the entertaining show “Improsessions”. He is now co-directing and playing with bluesman Marc Lelangue in « The Heavy Muffulettas », a New Orleans rhythm’s blues band. As a free lance musician, he had the opportunity to play with artists such as Fred Wesley, Boney M, George Mc Crae, Percy Sledge and, on a very special evening, with James Brown. Maurice "Mo" Egeston is a pianist, band leader and educator from St. Louis, Missouri. He spends his musical time leading bands and writing music while also working as a collaborative artist, accompanist and educator in both the classroom and private studio. A longtime veteran of the St. Louis music scene, Mo currently leads Mo E All-Stars who released their debut album in 2017. He also hosts a weekly event called Late Nights Grooves @ Dark Room at the Grandel through his residency with the Kranzberg Arts Foundation.
