Scott Detweiler is an American artist, born and raised in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Over the course of his 30 (thirty) year career, his catalog of albums has chronicled his evolution into a highly unique composer/performer, blending the styles of funk, jazz, blues, gospel & soul. His lyrics tell imaginatively woven stories that follow in the grand tradition of southern writers and classic lyricists. He is a true son of the rich musical climate and one-of-a-kind culture that is the Crescent City. It is these influences that are in the soul of his creations and evident in his live performances, whether solo, in chamber group or backed by his New Orleans Jazz Funksemble. Detweiler is a charismatic entertainer with a unique ability to touch his audience, whether it be in the intimate setting of a small jazz club, through the lens of a camera or on the concert stage of an arena

Later on, he pursued advanced music education in the composition and harmonization fields and won recognitions in several public music contests in Argentina. When later in life, Embon immigrated to Israel , its unique blend of world music and Middle Eastern music no doubt had an influence on the musician who at this point had already spent years creating and performing unique modern and alternative jazz compositions

Matthew Charles Heulitt

Guitarist and composer Matthew Charles Heulitt wields an uncanny ability to bridge the worlds of jazz, contemporary pop, and original music into a tapestry of soulful music. His lines on the guitar draw a constant sense of unfolding and searching that go well beyond the idioms of jazz improvisation. After graduating high school from the Interlochen Arts Academy high school in northern Michigan, Matthew went on to further his improvisational indulgences at Depaul University, Wayne State University, and finally at the University of Miami in Florida completing a bachelors degree in studio music and jazz guitar
