Craig S. Harris is an American jazz trombonist, who started working with {{m: Sun Ra = 10507}} in 1976. He also has worked with {{m: Abdullah Ibrahim = 7858}}, {{m: David Murray = 9702}}, {{m: Lester Bowie = 5209}}, {{m: Cecil Taylor = 4823}}, {{m: Sam Rivers = 10719}}, {{m: Muhal Richard Abrams = 3246}}, and {{m: Charlie Haden = 7320}}. He has recorded since 1983 as leader for India Navigation, Soul Note and JMT. For the latter he recorded with two groups. The Tailgater's Tales was a quintet with clarinetist {{m: Don Byron = 3807}}, trumpeter {{m: Eddie Allen = 3358}}, {{m: Anthony Cox = 5958}} on double bass, and {{m: Pheeroan akLaff = 3304}} on drums. His large ensemble Cold Sweat was a tribute to the music of {{m: James Brown = 11786}}.
