GUITARIST: Jorge Cariglino is a jazz musician, guitarist, composer, arranger and producer. He was born in Buenos Aires where he studied with the most outstanding jazz musicians of the Buenos Aires scene, he developed his musical skills creating his own style based on the natural fusion of jazz with its cultural environment of the Rio de la Plata movement. When one feels deep passion for creating art, keeping such fervor alive isn't a question; it's an absolute must. Alex Lefaivre

Alex Lefaivre is a bass player, composer and label owner based out of Montreal, QC, Canada. Drawing his inspiration from Montreal’s distinct urban energy, bass player Alex Lefaivre released YUL on August 3rd 2018. The album presents a series of modern jazz originals written for some of his home town’s most original musicians. Taking its name from Montreal’s airport code, YUL takes the listener on a cinematic trip through the city, where dreamy, hazy summer vibes are intertwined with a gritty, metropolitan edge. The lyrical, song-like melodies develop over interesting forms that leave a lot of room for the group to interact and showcase their conversational improvisations. Equally proficient on both the upright and electric bass, Alex is a fearless original known for his unique artistic voice, powerful groove, instrumental virtuosity, passionate work ethic and sense of humor

Alan Hall

Current composer, band leader and drummer of Ratatet, a neo-jazz sextet based in the San Francisco Bay Area which features Bassoon, Trombone and Vibraphone. Started drumming professionally with a San Jose, California based Mexican American Party Band: "Los Unicos" at age of 13. Began working as jazz drummer in San Francisco Bay Area until departure for Boston, MA. Attended Berklee College of Music and in 1986 joined percussion faculty there for 7years. While in Boston, he worked/recorded with singer Rebecca Parris, Scott Robinson, Stu Hamn, Larry Coryell, among others. Moved to back to California where he played/recorded with Art Lande, Paul McCandless, Kai Eckhardt, Ed Simon, Geoffrey Keezer, Kenny Washigton among others. Currently teacher at California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley and Cal State East Bay in Hayward.
