Randall "Big Daddy" Webster

Randall "Big Daddy" Webster's Bluesography Growing up in Wheaton, Illinois (also home to Jim and John Belushi), he snuck into the Windy City’s most notorious Blues clubs. They soaked in the music of Muddy Waters, Otis Span, Junior Wells, Big Joe Turner, and other Blues legends holding school on stage. Webster would often jump the “L” (elevated train) to Maxwell Street where itinerant Bluesmen plied their trade on the corner. Webster’s first guitar, a Harmony Stratatone, came from Duke’s pawnshop north of the old market. He scavenged record bins for vintage vinyl from his new Blues heroes

Marcus Klossek

A Telecaster, bass and drums; That’s all it takes to make the brand new songs of Marcus Klossek sound great! Marcus Klossek is an established member of Berlin‘s jazz scene who knows how to get to the point with his Electric Trio. His new album "Taken From The Skies" (Unit Records), this time strengthened by the saxophone of Finn Wiesner, is inviting and open, energetic and cool. A sound-set Heist-Movie, it describes the planning, preparation and performance of the musical coup. There are numerous ways to tell stories; from mouth to mouth, recited and sung, through the written word, carved in stone, penciled with quill and ink, thrown by an artist colourfully onto canvas… Marcus Klossek reaches for his guitar, and we listen spellbound to the rhythms and melodies that he and his Electric Trio develop in front of us
