Wojciech Lichtański (born in 1989) - one of the most talented alto saxophonists of the Polish young generation, the prizewinner of the competitions such as the 15th Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa, Grand Prix Jazz nad Odrą and many more. His uncommon maturity, refined sound and professional technique can impress every audience. As a composer, he received a few prestigious prizes: a special prize for “Journey with K.” to a big band from Maria Schneider in the competition of the 14th Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa. As a teenager, he won many classical music competitions. In 2013, he obtained his Master of Arts degree in Saxophone at the Academy of Music in Katowice
