Roland Balogh

Roland Balogh was born in Budapest (Hungary) in 1984. He began playing guitar at the age of 6 years, initially guided by his father and later by a private teacher. From 12 to 14 he attended the Oszk (Hungarian Jazz Music School). At 15 in Budapest he won the third place of the contest "International Jazz Festival" together with his pianist twin brother. In 2001 he attended the music school Kőbánya; afterwards he took lessons from the famous hungarian jazz guitarist, Gyula Babos. In 2007 he taken his high Level diploma of jazz guitar in this school. With Finucci Bros Quartet, which he founded in 2008, he won the second place in the Hungarian competition “Jazz Combo”
