Jimmy Bennington

Jimmy Bennington (born May 22, 1970; Columbus, Ohio) is a self-taught artist who began playing professionally in Texas, 1990. Mentored by late John Coltrane drummer Elvin Jones during the last decade of his life, Bennington was eventually hired as Jones' band manager/drum tech, touring the world as part of the Elvin Jones Jazz Machine (2000-2002). Since then, Bennington lived on the West Coast for several years (1997-2006), and has made Chicago his home base (2006-Present). Jimmy has performed and recorded with artists such as Julian Priester, Perry Robinson, John Stowell, Ed Schuller, Bert Wilson, Ken Filiano, Steve Cohn, John Blum, John Gross, Daniel Carter, and French bassist Benjamin Duboc

Rodrigo Recabarren

Born in Santiago de Chile, Rodrigo Recabarren holds a Masters in Music, Jazz Performance form New York University, a BA in Music from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a professional degree in classical percussion from the same university. Since his early years as a professional, Rodrigo was recognized as the leader of a generation of Jazz performers in Chile. Press, professors and peers agree on his extraordinary abilities and praise his work. In 2009 Rodrigo moves to New York City and starts his career in the United States. Rodrigo has performed, worked and/or recorded with important artists as: Kenny Barron, Kenny Werner, Wayne Krantz, Brad Shepik, Gilad Hekselman, Angel Parra, Melissa Aldana, Camila Meza, Rotem Sivan, Jeff Miles, and Peter Slavov among many others. Rodrigo has performed in Europe, the United States, Asia and Latin-America in prestigious venues like the Blue Note and Jazz at Lincoln Center, among many others in New York City, as well as festivals and venues in countries worldwide like Japan, Denmark, Germany, Spain, Argentina, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, Latvia and all over the United states, just to name a few. Rodrigo is endorser of important drum companies like Vic Firth Sticks, Zildjian Cymbals, and Overtone Labs, who revolutionize the instrument with the invention of the Tune-Bot. Giuseppe Paradiso

He was born in Santeramo in Colle (Bari, Italy) in 1983 and started his musical studies on drums at the age of six years old. In 2007, he graduated with full marks and honours from the Italian Conservatory “N. Piccinni” of Bari, in percussion instruments, studying with professor Beniamino Forestiere, who later dedicated a composition for solo marimba to Giuseppe Paradiso. At the conservatory he also had the opportunity to study mallets (marimba and vibraphone), besides his studies on drums; in 2003 he participated as a soloist at the “International Marimba Competition” at the Superior National Conservatory of Paris, one of the most prestigious mallet’s competition in the world, performing in front of a jury of top exponents

Erkan Sonmez

Erkan Sönmez, musician, born in 1989. He is interested with music since he was 14. He is graduated in the department of drum from Modern Music Academy. He is also playing piano, guitar and bass guitar beside his main instrument drum. In his musical journey, which goes through from thrash metal to jazz, he had the chance to play with many bands and musicians in stage and studio both as a musician and as an arranger. Recently, he has been playing with Erdem Sökmen Quartet and also he shares the stage with Levent Yüksel and Grup Vitamin. In this period, in which everybody creates his own music and universe, he is planning to record and produce his instrumental LP which emerges without locking on the corners of genres at the end of 2018, which consist of his own compositions. He took part in big halls like Cemil Topuzlu Theatre, Bostancı Performance Hall, Zorlu PSM, also he participated in many different kind of stages and festivals
