Dor Herskovits
Dor Herskovits is an Israeli drummer based in Boston. He began pursuing his passion for music at the age of 14, studying drumming and guitar. Dor studied in Rimon School of Music in Israel, while performing with top local artists in the Israeli Jazz scene. In 2010 Dor transferred to Berklee College of Music on an international scholarship. After completing his Bachelor’s degree at Berklee, Dor had spent a year in New York exploring the affluent jazz scene and performing and teaching. During that year he had also participated in the semi-finals of the prestigious Thelonious Monk Jazz drummer competition. Recently, Dor had completed his Masters degree in jazz performance at the New England Conservatory
