Jose Luis Castro

I am a musician, producer, sound designer and composer for video games, film and television. I was born in Mexico City. At an early age I learned to play  guitar on my own and a couple of years later I started taking music theory and performance classes with the maestro Roberto Méndez.

In 2012 I continued my theoretical and practical studies in Pasadena, California where I was a student of virtuoso guitarist Uros Raskovski and legendary vocalist Oren Waters, who has sung on records such as Muse's The 2nd Law and Michael Jackson's Thriller.

In 2013 I continued my studies at Berklee College of Music in the city of Boston. Focusing on arrangement, composition, production and sound design.

Rob Duguay lives in Queens, New York and performs regularly around the New York City tri-state area, leading multiple groups including Songevity, Low Key Trio, and Rob Duguay Quartet and Trio. He has performed with a large list of fine musicians including Steve Wilson, Abraham Burton, Mark Gross, Chip White, Justin Kauflin, Nadav Snir- Zelniker, Chris Brown, Winard Harper, and more. Aside from performing, Rob stays busy in the music community by teaching private music lessons, composing original music, and booking jazz events both private and at NYC clubs. Rob also acted as a New York correspondent for TSF Jazz Radio in Paris, France, and is the artistic director for About the Swing, a non-profit that brings jazz events to schools throughout the NYC area

Jorge Fernández was born in México city, he studied at Escuela Superior de Música -ESM (INBA, Mx)- He studied first classical percussion and then he achieved his bachelor degree in Jazz Performance for drum set/percussion. He received a full scholarship to study a jazz certificate at The University of Texas in Brownsville. He took a jazz workshop in New York city at the Center of Improvisational Music (CIM). JF has participated in Masterclasses with musicians like: Dave Weckl, Antonio Sánchez, JIm Black, Tom Rayne, Wynton Marsalis, Mark Helias, Andy Milne, Chick Corea, Gary Burton, Peter Erskine, Steve Gadd, Oscar Stagnaro, among others. Roberto Sanchez-Picasso, is a young Mexican Jazz Musician, his music is influence by Classical, Jazz, and Rock music styles, and of course the music from Mexico, he has been influenced by many Jazz Guitarist, from Barney Kessel, Charlie Cristian, Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Kenny Burrel, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Jesse Van Ruller, Kurt Rosenwinkel and many others. He has two CD's under his name as a leader, “Do Not War” a compilation of 2 recording sessions one in Morelia Mexico (with David Villanueva-Piano, Cristian Sevilla-Bass, Efren Capiz-Drums) and another in Utrecht The Netherlands (with Carlos Fagin-Piano, Nicolas Tryphonos- Contrabass, Maarten Diesveldt- Drums), half of the music on it are original compositions, as well as interpretations of popular Jazz Standars, in the Autumn 2012 he's releasing his Trio Debut Album “El Norte”, recorded in Belgium (with Mihail Ivanov-Contrabass and Srdjan Ivanovic-Drums) at Max Bolleman studio.

His career as a performer on bass and Double Bass is complemented by other areas within the recording and music production. Composer and arranger, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has developed through research and experimentation of the instrument, new ways and techniques of execution, which together with the influence of musical styles from Europe, Africa, North & Latin America; concur to enrich his music. In the scene, he has collaborated with great musicians of international stature such as Hermeto Paschoal, Greg Osby, Tom Coster, Paquito D’Rivera, Adam Rapa, Osmany Paredes, Jovino Santos Neto, Misha Piatigorsky, Robertinho di Paula and Henry Cole. He currently lives in Mexico City, where he has participated in a number of cultural events and festivals with important musicians of  Mexican jazz scene such  as Hector Infanzón, Cris Lobo, Chucho Lopez, Enrique Nery, João Henrique, Elizabeth Meza, Alex Mercado, Roberto “Betuco” Arballo, Victor Patron, to name a few. Marcos in now touring and promoting his new album "Feira" in several venues and festivals with his Trio being accompanied by the best musicians in Mexico City's jazz scene.
