Tania Stavreva

Bulgarian pianist Tania Stavreva made her New York Recital Debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in April 2009, as part of the Artists International’s 36 Special Presentation Winners Series. This season, Tania Stavreva appeared at major venues including Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Williams, Brown and Seully Halls in Boston, Lincoln Center’s Paul Hall, Yamaha Artists Services Piano Salon, Steinway Hall, Tenri Cultural Institute, and The Bulgarian Consulate General in New York. Invited by Amanda Palmer from the internationally-acclaimed band The Dresden Dolls, Tania is one of the first pianists of her generation to perform modern classical music at such top rock club venues as the Webster Hall in New York and the Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Recent recital performances include appearances at Steinert Hall, Boston Public Library, Boston Symphony’s Higginson Hall, Fogg Museum of Art at Harvard University, Goethe Institute-Boston, National Ethnographic, United University Church in Los Angeles, Museum-Plovdiv, Bulgaria and “Sala dei Notari” Perugia, Italy
