Jeff spent 2002–2007 attending Berklee College of Music as an upright bass principle. Stylistically, he enjoys playing jazz, classic R&B, soul, rock, the blues, and latin. Jeff plays a Chris Stambaugh Designs custom 4-string electric, a Warwick 5-string Fortress One electric, and a Shen Willow ¾ Flatback upright bass.
