Shirley Crabbe

Native New Yorker and 2019 New York Bistro Award winner, Shirley Crabbe has been hailed as possessing a voice that “must surely appeal to all who love good jazz singing.” Her “almost Ella Fitzgerald–like vibe glows…” says Downbeat Magazine's John Ephland on her 2011 debut recording HOME featuring the legendary saxophonist Houston Person. Her 2018 Top 50 album BRIDGES (2018) has received rave reviews and spotlights her collaborations with renowned pianists Donald Vega, and David Budway. Shirley has been a guest on syndicated radio programs such as “Jazz Inspired” hosted by Judy Carmichael, and Steve Cuden's "StoryBeat" to name a few, and currently performs at jazz clubs, festivals and concert series in the US

Ellen Kirkwood

Ellen Kirkwood is a trumpeter, composer, bandleader and educator from Marrickville, Sydney. She studied Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium under many Australian Jazz greats including Mike Nock, Warwick Alder, Judy Bailey, Matt McMahon and Dale Barlow. In 2012 she won the Jann Rutherford Memorial Award for young women in Jazz. She was a finalist in the 2017 Freedman Jazz Fellowships and her 1 hour suite [A]part was a finalist for Jazz Work of the Year in the 2018 APRA Art Music Awards. In 2016 Ellen received a grant from the Australia Council for the Arts for a composition mentorship with stellar composer/pianist Barney McAll, during which she penned [A]part - a groundbreaking 1 hour suite for 16 piece Sirens Big Band plus featured soloists Andrea Keller, Sandy Evans and Gian Slater

Viktorija Pilatovic

Viktorija Pilatovic is a jazz vocalist from Lithuania, since 2017 is part the voice faculty at Berklee College of Music, Valencia, Spain. Recording artist for Greg Osby's Inner Circle Music label, with the first release "Nica's Blues" in 2013 and "Stories" 2017. New album "The Only Light" 2019. Owns Masters in Music from Berklee College of Music, Full Scholarship and Excellency award. For the past years has gained academic teaching experience, including Berklee International Network School, Ecuador, Sedajazz seminars in Spain and Global Music Network, London. Recorded with renown Spanish saxophone player Perico Sambeat in his latest Big Band album "Voces". Colt Hutchinson

Colt Hutchinson is a fresh young tenor saxophonist, educator, and composer arranger based out of Ohio. He has a deep passion for creating original music that is connective and engages audiences from all walks of life. Colt is a third year jazz studies major at Youngstown State University where he studies under jazz greats such as Dr. Kent Engelhardt, Dr. Dave Morgan, and Mr. Dave Kana. In addition to his jazz studies, he has spent two years studying classical saxophone under renowned performer and educator Dr. James Umble. Colt has performed on masterclasses with jazz greats such as Chad Lefkowitz-Brown, Sean Jones, Ralph Lalama and James Weidman

Alec Castro is a Mexican pianist, composer and arranger established in the city of New York since 2010. He is an active member of the music scene in the New York area. He has performed in important venues such as Dizzy's Coca Cola Club, Jazz at Lincoln Center atrium, Minton's, Aaron Davis Hall, Shea Center for the Performing Arts​, Shapeshifter Lab, Tutuma Social Club, Bonafide Club, Trumpets Jazz Club, among others. Jaelem Bhate

Jaelem Bhate is a conductor, composer, and bandleader from Vancouver, B.C. whose musical diversity has come to define his career. Equally comfortable in the jazz and classical worlds, he has been hailed as one of Canada’s most promising emerging artists. Jaelem obtained his Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting in May, 2019 from UBC in Vancouver, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in percussion performance also from UBC. He has maintained parallel studies in composition throughout his time as a student. As a composer, Jaelem has been praised for possessing “a personal and highly effective voice” (Canadian Music Center, 2018) and has written music for a wide array of ensembles and soloists

Rodric White

Rodric White was a finalist in the 1999 National Australian Jazz Piano Competition and is a graduate of the Associate Diploma of Jazz Studies Course (NSW Conservatorium of Music) where he majored in Music Arranging and Jazz Piano, and studied Classical Piano with Gerard Willems (Judge of the Sydney International Piano Competition and ABC Recording Artist). For two years, Rodric completed an intensive course of private study with leading Sydney Pianist and Jazz Educator, Bobby Gebert. Rodric has served as pianist and music director for International vocalists Nicki Parrott (USA), Patricia Ségui (France), Juliana Areias (Brazil), Marilane De Mello (Brazil), Rachel Delgado (Chile) and 2015 finalist in the Thelonious Monk Jazz Vocal Competition (USA) / winner Generations in Jazz Vocal Scholarship Liam Burrows, and performed with leading Australian musicians such as Emma Pask, Virna Sanzone, Simone Waddell, Dale Barlow, Ralph Pyl, Phil Slater, Jason Morphett, Danny Carmichael, John Morrison, Andrew Dickeson, Toby Hall, Brett Hirst, Jonathan Zwartz, Ashley Turner & Andy Firth
