Teis Semey

Teis Semey (1993) was born in rural Denmark and found his interest in music at the age of 7. After shuffling between playing piano and playing guitar, he settled on guitar. Moving to Sweden in 2007, he started studying music in a specialised programme for young jazz talents in the city Malmö. After a brief year in Stockholm, studying jazz guitar and classical composition, classical piano and jazz guitar, he moved to Amsterdam, earning a bachelors and masters degree in jazz guitar in the Conservatory of Amsterdam, studying under Jesse van Ruller, Reinier Baas, Maarten vd Grinten, Matiss Cudars, George Dumitriu and Martijn van Iterson. Teis Semey draws influences from all around: the works of Shostakovich, Stravinsky, Ravel as well as Wayne Shorter, Arctic Monkeys, Nirvana, Audioslave, Kurt Rosenwinkel and John Coltrane. Teis Semey has released one CD as a band leader; “Where The Fence is the Highest” (2019, TRPTK) along with “Pull a String, a Puppet Moves” with PULL (2015, Loumi Records) and “Rotterdam Suite” by The New Rotterdam Jazz Orchestra (2019). Teis has performed in venues such as Blue Whale (Los Angeles) and Bimhuis (Netherlands)

Ben Rosenblum

Award-winning jazz pianist, composer and accordionist Ben Rosenblum has been described as “mature beyond his years,” (Sea of Tranquility), an “impressive talent” (All About Jazz), who “caresses [the music] with the reverence it merits” (Downbeat Magazine). An internationally-touring bandleader, Rosenblum has performed with his trio throughout the United States, including extensive tours of the Northeast, Midwest and West Coast, as well as in Canada and Japan. He was a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall's Stern-Perelman Auditorium with Maestro Reona Ito's New York Harmonic Band, and has appeared at numerous prestigious venues throughout the world, including at the Appel Room at Lincoln Center, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Ravinia, the Library of Congress and Himawari-No-Sato Concert Hall in Yokohama

Doron Segal

Doron Segal was seven years old when he started taking piano lessons at the Karmiel conservatory in northern Israel. At the conservatory, he spent nine years studying classical piano playing. Then, at the age of sixteen, he was introduced to jazz music by his brother who gave him recordings of jazz music played by Michel Petrucciani, Chick Corea and Oscar Peterson. He became fascinated by the atmosphere of jazz music and began playing in jazz groups. In the years that followed, he played jazz music in various projects, competitions and bands in Israel. At the age of twenty-one, Doron started studying at the Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem, majoring in Jazz Piano, studying with Avi Adrian and Yuval Cohen

Noah Rott

After years of exploring and absorbing art in a wide variety of mediums, piano player Noah Rott possesses his own personal and compelling style, both in performance and composition. In his playing he combines diverse influences from traditional jazz, modern and Avantgarde jazz, electronic music to classical music. Over the years he has developed a most unique compositional style and his original compositions are frequently performed by the bands he leads such as Noah Rott's Rocket Men, Noah Rott Trio, Noah Rott Quartet, Breakneck Trio and Solo Piano. As a pianist and keyboarder he performed at concert venues in Europe, USA, China, South Korea and Nepal and at major jazz festivals such as Jazzmandu, JazzOpen, Ueberjazz, Travejazz, Elbjazz, Feel.Jazz, and JazzHaus Festival. Born and raised in Germany, Noah grew up playing the piano from the age of 10 and also explored his musicality in electronic music production
