I have brought many reflections of whaTEVER jazz MAY BE to more non-jazzers than most folks cause that just about all that comes out OF ME when i musicate . I am by default of my simplicity/ethnentricity an (other than a more white than thou jazzer). I do & will teach, share, tutor, and help and give it up for the sake of music. I PRETTY MUCH AM BY NATURE since child-hood (real natural rhythm-person jazzer)that reads rhythm chord charts, and is still developing jazz & swing, and blues and bossa chop's as maverick jazz mercenary (hybrid-real Hippy Jazzer). In the mid 70's I was taken under the tutterage of a very broken man-injured sax man-mathematician known as the one-time (white bird)-of CHICAGO (FOLLIES BURLESQUE FAME) who pretty much kept me isolated from every thing but fusion perhaps to listen to listen to learn the rules to break them in exchange for helping him mend is broken mouth and hands renderd per an attack of the (LATIN Eagles) on route back from the famed (GREEN-DOOR) near the ARagon Theatre, Uptown Chicago. I have been playing all the FAT-CHORD-poly-tonal voicings as part and parcel of my style for many many years. My hero is Jimmy Bruno, Bola Cete, Emily Rhymer, McCoy Tyner and all other jazz musicians that share emanate majick . I respect all other jazzers and muzo's and deplore (jazz snobs)of all colors. I am Native American-grand-son of dead-eye harris, Scotch Irish, Italian roots from the Midwest, South-East Northeast Canadian (MicMac) and the Northwest Was born 18 years before Woodstock in Newport RH & weaned to jazz rhythms & melodies as a baby(@Uncle-Nick Cannarozzi's) The Cliff-Walk Manor (Jazz CLub & upscale Hotel-Since the beginning known as & documented as one of the, if not the hippest jazz muzo , gig spot, hip-cat beatnic, heavily NYC jazzer scenerio hang-out, a many timed mini-jazz fest itself self, while nestled @ the beginning of the famed Cliff Walk of New-Englands most over the top mansions and castles. At the the end of the 60's and beginning of the 70's, I was on-hand for the famed of (Newport Jazz Fest of 1969)a prelude of things to come via the (1969 Woodstock Fest& Newport RH then (August 1969 heavily jazz musician booked frequently during the Newport Jazz Fest's, where I parked cars,& limo's & also worked-security for min-fest booked @ The Cliff by (Swiss Movement-Famed, (Eddie Harris).During the day & night , all Newport over run by (Booby Dylans Groupies), hippies, as well as roudy jazzers, Beat-nics , Bohemians on an international scale as never before, with open camping fires parties every-where, at the commons parks near the Fest Grounds-(all hell broke loose) -and gave way to a free jazz fest, and yes set the precedents for Woodstock too. I have been jazzed ever since and before as an informal street taught jazzer listener player of the acoustic bent-former Benedetto player-hack,now a hybriod acoustic radius toped blue-jazzer player from the streets, to the clubs, coffee houses, fests, communes, forests around the states and the globe from Australia to the Bahamas-mixing jazz in an acoustic delivery ... Currently, re-writing, original and re-arrangements, of cross-over jazz, as a legitimate acoustic jazz singer, accompanist while also coordinating and producing largest stable of varied diverse seasoned acoustic roots musicians in Florida-pod-casting and recording to be gig-ready aka-the (ACOUSTIC HARVEST SHOWCASE)just South of Orlando FL while aslo side man and soloist seeking other jazzers while playing bossa, jazz, swing, latin in a hybrid style similar to Emily Rhymer of my own. I wea re already with 20 + full blown prime time (acoustic showcases) under our belts to date since 2007. Recording wise i have had an aversion to having my soirit captured on any celluloid or digital media ..(I AM YET STILL A VIRGIN, UNSIGNED and on the verge of releasing some jazz re-arrangements as well as original material) I invite (HEART-FELT, astute, national, world class musician'S, (of notoriety or not) to advise, and or tomentor and or for direction, management, and of course for mutual co-laberation-minus any attitude's other than (we get by with a little help from our friends) and minus any (even hints micro-management or inter-ference from outside parties other than your-selves ...no-producers, managers, agents, etc ...
