Steve Rochinski

About Me

Stephen Rochinski was born on January 20, 1954 in Washington DC. He is a self-taught guitarist. Steve has worked and performed with Tal Farlow, Attila Zoller, Jimmy Rainey, Pete and Conte Candoli, Tim Hagans, Joe Lovano, Greg Hopkins, Gary Foster, Pat Harbison, Jeff Sherman Hal Melia, Chip Stephens, Hank Marr, Brad Goode, Joe Hunt, Scott Lee, Chuck Redd, Richard Evans, Bob Freedman, Tony Tillman as well as numerous studio, concert, club date and international clinic appearances.

An early influence on Steve was his paternal grandfather, Stanley Rochinski, Jr., who, although not a musician, did have some success as a songwriter when, in 1948, he collaborated with Carmen Lombardo on the perennial hit tune “Powder Your Face With Sunshine (Smile, Smile, Smile)
