My Jazz Story

I love jazz because what else is there to love??? (besides classical music, of course, those two have to share my mind, heart and soul! I was first exposed to jazz when I was about 5 or so... listening to it on the old radio! But only when my Mom was out of the kitchen, because she could not stand it! I met Sony Rollins, Herbie Hancock.... and they are sheer inspirations! The best show I ever attended was two Sony shows, one Herbie show, and RTF... and I can't decide which tops it... they were all memorable! My advice to new listeners: Try and discover the jazz gene inside of you... it's in there, keep looking, keep listening til you hear it talking to you!
