My Jazz Story

I love jazz because it rocks! it transports! it raises me up! I was first exposed to jazz by my father. The best show I ever attended was Brad Mehldau in DC or the Vanguard or Harry Allen or Ryan Kisor at Smalls, or any show at Smalls. The first jazz record I bought was Stan Getz's Girl from Ipanema. My advice to new listeners: seek out and listen to the wide variety, especially the live stuff if able!
