About Me

Cherise is a Jazz, Neo Soul, R & B, and Gospel vocalist, a song writer, a lyricist and a musician who began singing and performing publicly at a very young age. She was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where she performed with several musical groups, recorded campaign theme songs, did voiceover work, recorded background vocals, composed songs, and wrote lyrics. Then, somehow, Cherise lost touch with music. In 2004, music found her, and once again she had joy in her life. She began performing with local bands as a background singer and quickly found her way back to singing leads. Her newfound appreciation for music often inspires the vocalists and musicians around her, and she will openly tell you that she is BLESSED to have a second chance to pursue her passion.
