About Me

Brian Collins has a wide range of musical diversity. He has scored soundtrack for Rogers cable T.V. student news casts, composed and recorded for Government self help videos and has had numerous appearances on CITY TV, CTV, Channel 47, CFTO, TLN, Much Music. He has performed in countless clubs, concert halls and Arenas in North America as well as Great Britain. Brian was born in GLASGOW, SCOTLAND, and moved to Canada with his family when he was 12. Brian is “SELF TAUGHT”, has played Bass for 26 years, and in 2001 decided to make a switch to piano. He has performed with noted artists like Ted Quinlan (Jazz guitarist) Lisa Martinelli (Jazz Vocalist) Michael Hanson (Glass Tiger) Pianist Anthony Panacci (Montuno Police), Drummer Stych Winston (Big sugar), David Deacon (Discovery channels narrator) Orhan Demir (Turk Guitar legend) Curtis Lee (blues guitarist) Chicago recording artist Harry Muria, Socan award winner Rock opera diva Patrizia, and has played in the 2002 Atlantis production of Grease. Brian has also opened on stages for recording artists The Watchmen, The Tea Party, Sloan and Lowest of the Low. Brian also teaches part time, has honours from Humber College Music Program and performs corporate gigs with his Jazz trio, The JAZZMAKERS.
