My Jazz Story

I love jazz because It is the best way I can express myself. I was first exposed to jazz through my grandfather when I was 7 and he played Stan Getz and Jobim. I met Harry James when I was 12 years old and he told me to drop the clarinet and take up the trumpet. I did. The best show I ever attended was Miles at The Hollywood Bowl. The first jazz record I bought was Benny Goodman & His Orchestra. My advice to new listeners... keep an open mind
