As a UK music journalist, I've written for The Guardian, The Independent, The Times, The Financial Times and magazines including Plan B and Dazed & Confused. I've been contributing to All About Jazz since a near-tropical downpour during the Punkt festival in Kristiansand, Norway, drove me to take shelter in a church doorway. Turned out the other pathetically sodden figure huddled therein was John Kelman.
