Victor Samalot is the Co-founder / guitarist for rock / jazz fusion
group Rare Blend (1994-present) with 5 CD releases receiving college&
internet radio airplay and CD sales in the US, Europe, South America,
Japan, etc....also receiving rave reviews regionally and worldwide
from major publications such as All About Jazz, Jazz Review, 20th
Century Guitar magazine, Progression Magazine, Relix Magazine, Akron
Beacon Journal, The Plain Dealer, Cleveland Scene, and many more..
He's also been playing professionally for over 25 years with a
successful career performing in concerts, festivals, television
appearances, film scoring, studio sessions, and teaching guitar.
Since 2009, Victor has been performing as a solo acoustic
instrumental guitarist inspired by Jazz stylings, Latin, rock, Ambient
and World rhythms.
Some of Victor's Guitar influences are Carlos Santana, Andy Summers,
Craig Chaquico, Ottmar Liebert, Jeff Beck, Phil Keaggy, Jimmy Page.
In 2011, he came out with his first solo acoustic CD entitled "Victor
Samalot". When performing live, Victor uses digital looping
technology which is a foot-activated device capable of simultaneous
recording and playback in real-time creating a one man band sound.
