About Me

I am new to jazz but totally in love with it. I fell so much in love that I decided to take up trumpet at the tender age of 32. I have learned so much about the music and more importantly myself as result of it. I have had nothing but good experiences with this music, the people who make it and the people who appreciate it. Musical influences would include (but not limited to) Miles Davis, Woody Shaw, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Keter Betts, Ingrid Jensen, Jeremy Pelt and Terence Blanchard

My Favorites

  1. Miles Davis - Kind of Blue
  2. Wayne Shorter - Speak No Evil
  3. John Coltrane - Crescent
  4. Woody Shaw - Little Red's Fantasy
  5. The Jody Grind - Horace Silver
  6. Terence Blanchard - The Malcolm X Jazz Suite
