Emiliano Torres

About Me



A veteran of the Latin music scene Emiliano Torres has accomplished numerous goals at the tender age of 25. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Emiliano quickly became well known in the music industry with his funky charismatic solos as well as his distinctive look. His first tour came right after High School when Maverick's own Latin Grammy winner Jorge Moreno offered him a chance to be a permanent member of his band, reaching his sound to national audiences around the country and appearing in shows such as Good Morning America and Despierta America as well as numerous MTV Espanol commercials. Following that his sound would also be featured on the title song on VH1's movie 28 Days till I'm Famous. After touring alongside Moreno as a featured soloist Emiliano became involved with Locos por Juana as the music arranger/director of the band. Again touring on a national level and being recognized in 2005 with a Latin Grammy nomination. His studio work includes recording with producers like A.T. Molina (Huey Dunbar, Mariah Carey), Roberto Morales (Enrique Iglesias), and Juan Pablo Manzanero. Live performances also include international artist such as Javier Garcia, Rabanes, Johnny Dread, Don Dinero, La Secta, Control Machete, La Ley and Sonora Carrouseles. Emiliano's current projects include writing the soundtrack for John Craven's upcoming movie Fast Food a film about a trumpet player facing obstacles of life, in which he'll also have a small role and the musical director for the very classy upcoming club in Miami the “Bottle Club” opening up late 2006.
